  Good shop, quality products and friendly helpful staff.

  I was not very impressed with the service offered. I has a set of lights fitted by Active Gear as part of my new car. The wiring diagram for these lights was not followed and the wrong sized relays and fuses were fitted causing malfunctions in the lights that became a safety issue and I was no longer able to use the lights. After a 2.5 hr trip back into Rockhampton for them to fix the issue I still had to provide them with the wiring diagram and tell them what needed fixing. There was also no consideration to the fact that I had a 5 hr round trip to fix their poor fitment.

  Bought a bull bar and side rails and steps bout a year ago noticed an issue with the sensors. Went back was advised to finish build and I agreed finished the build and still had issue went back and to there credit they fixed the issue and I'm very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone

  The new owners are shining lights in the 4WD industry. They dont talk down to you like most of the other 4WD shops in town and give good advice with a big range of products with fulcrum next door.

  Peter and the Team at Active Gear Rockhampton installed a 2” lift kit in my Landcruiser 76 Wagon.. After Ringing around, I found the best price and service to be from these guys although they are 4 hrs from home. I organised to get the car to them on a Friday and asked if they could could get it done quickly as my uncle was going to pick it up on his way through. It was done before time and excellent service, excellent quality and excellent price. What more could you ask for..
